[Consumerwide - Jinil Kang Reporter / Yohan Bok Reporter] E-commerce begins reservation for the iPhone 15 series at 12 midnight on the 6th. E-commerce, including Coupang, Gmarket, and 11st, are providing discounts and no interest instalment benefit for the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) plan. As reservation begin, some products are already out of stock. Reservation plans for telecommunication businesses are not bad. However, concerning a 2-year instalment at a 5.9% interest rate, it is a better choice to use a contract plan with BYOD.

At 1am of the 6th, all the iPhone 15 pro models, iPhone 15 plus 128 GB black and pink BYOD were out of stock temporarily in Coupang. Coupang is offering a 5% discount on Wow membership with a credit card for reservation for the iPhone 15 series. They are also providing a 20% d/c on Apple Care+ SMS, and a max 22 months with no interest instalment plan. Used phones are rewarded according to the condition of phones and iPhone XS XR, 2020, SE3, and 11~14 series models get an extra 30 thousand won.

11st provides max 5% d/c, which is different from the 5% discount benefit of Coupang, and Apple Care+ 20% d/c, no interest instalment for max 22 months. 11st also provides an additional 30 thousand won reward for used phones. For payment with a 11t Shinhan card, they provide 25 thousand won nd/c and max 3% points. During the same time, iPhone 15 plus and iPhone 15pro max line BYOD plan phones were out of stock on the 11st.

Wemakeprice is facilitating the 2nd reservation, and it is going to begin delivery on the 25th. Phones reserved during the third reservation period begin delivery on the 1st of Sept, and the phones reserved during the first reservation period begin delivery on the 13th. Wemakeprice is giving a 4% discount for iPhone 15 and iPhone 15+, and a 5% d/c for iPhone 15 pro and pro max. Some colours of iPhone 15 and plus are out of stock. On the other hand, iPhone 15 pro and pro max are in stock. Besides, Gmarket, and Tmon are hosting reservation for BYOD plan phones in connection with telecommunication providers. In general, BYOD can be used with any provider.
