[Consumerwide - Hayoung Chang Reporter/Yohan Bok Reporter] Staffs of businesses and value consumers are directly participating in ESG. Hana Financial Group is facilitating the acorn planting campaign, in which 400 members participate. They get to take care of these trees in the office space. Afterwards, they transplant them. Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation is getting the third SH citizenship shareholder to talk about the ideas of citizens on stable housing plans and housing welfare.

Hana Financial Group is contributing to environment protection and carbon neutralisation through an acorn planting campaign (ESG campaign), which involves their staff directly. 400 staff members of Hana Financial Group voluntarily participate in planting seeds and caring for them for 100 days in their own spaces. Later on, they transplant them on Noeul Park in Sangamdong. Each acorn tree absorbs 2.5 tonnes of CO2 annually and contributes to microdust reduction while emitting O2. Thus, Hana perceives that 400 fully grown trees will absorb 10,000 tonnes of CO2 while reducing over 13 kg of microdust annually. An associated person from the campaign said, "I feel the importance of environmental protection and carbon neutralization. Thus, I am grateful to participate in the ESG campaign, which I can practice easily from the comfort of my home. I plan to do my best so that little seed will grow healthily till it is transplanted at Hana Financial Happy Forest."

Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation is getting the third SH citizenship shareholder, which is 100 people, including 59 young adults (Seoul residencies), 20 middle-aged citizens (over 40), 10 households of public housing, and 11 excellent participants from the 2nd SH citizenship shareholder programme, for ESG management. The young adult group includes students from overseas (full-time students and exchange students) to hear global perspectives. They have been facilitating the SH SH citizenship shareholder project since 2019 for open ESG management. Any Seoul citizen can participate to share their ideas on a stable housing plan and housing welfare. The citizenship shareholders get to submit opinions for discussed agendas from SH, suggest policies for stable housing for Seoul citizens, and receive reports about changes made afterwards.
