Neopharm donated functional food and cosmetics worth 320 million won, Korean Air donated upcycling medical devices pouches, Kookmin Bank signed a treaty in cooperation with Unicef.

Neopharm donates functional food and cosmetics worth 320 million won to female citizens in vulnerable conditions, while Korean Air donates upcycling medical devices pouches. Kookmin Bank signed a treaty which aims to expand the donation culture in Korea, in cooperation with Unicef.

Neopharm has passed on functional food and cosmetics worth 320 million won to female citizens in vulnerable conditions in Seoul. This donation has been facilitated in cooperation with Seoul Community of Chest of Korea, and Atosolution, which is a functional food expertized brand of Neopharm, DermaB, Realbarrier, T'else participated in the donation. 32350 products including the Mega3, essence, and bodycreams are going to be passed to the female citizens in vulnerable conditions due to single parenting, disabilities, career break, and multicultural background.

Kim Yangsu, the CEO of Neopharm said, "We see it meaningful that we could pass on functional food and cosmetics to female citizens in vulnerable conditions due to constant heavy rains and extreme heat. In the future, Neopharm will do its best to take a social responsibility for the recovery of regular life for citizens in vulnerable conditions, including children, by continuing social contribution activities."

Meanwhile, Korean Air has donated 500 medical device pouches, which are made out of uniforms, to Seoul Gangseo senior welfare center and Incheon Yongyu elementary school. Korean air recycled used uniforms, which are regularly wasted after return, to a new product. The medical device package was purchased through donations made by staff and executives of Korean Air, which is 5 million won worth. The package includes 6 types of medical products, including fever and cold medicines. Korean Air announced that they are focusing on ESG management through upcycling products.

Kookmin Bank is expanding the donation culture while discovering donators.

Kookmin Bank signed a treaty "Expansion of heritage donation culture using assets" in cooperation with Unicef. This program offers discovering donators while providing customized donation program and financial solutions using "KB awsome heritage donation asset". "KB awsome heritage donation asset" is a product designed to donated heritage to schools, hospitals, and relief centers after death while assets including cash and land are managed by a bank according to asset contract. Donations are going to be used for global projects for the social welfare and rights of children in cooperation with Unicef Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
