This time we are going to check out the benefits of new cars provided by each car manufacturer in October, which might assist rational consumption.

Korean car businesses are offering cash discount and no interest instalment payment options during October.

Hyundai Motor is offering a 5.4% (mobility standard) interest rate for monthly instalment. These are the max discount rate for each Hyundai car model; 3.2 million won (KRW) for The All New Grandeur, 4.5 million discount for Ionic 6 and 5, 2.85 million won for The All New Kona Electric, 2.8 million won for Nexo, 2.55 million won for The All New Kona Hybrid, 2.35 million won for Porter2 Electric, 1.8 million won for Palisade, 1.55 million won for The All New Kona, 1.5 million won for The All New Santa Fe, 1.3 million won for The all New Santa Fe Hybrid, 1.2 million won for The All New Grandeur, 1.05 million won for The New Avante (12 months no interest instalment), The New Avante Hybrid, The New Avante N, and Venue, 1 million won for Sonata The Edge, Sonata The Edge Hybrid, Tucson, Tucson Hybrid, 0.75 million for Staria Lounge, Staria, and Porter2, 0.7 million won for Ionic 5N.

Chevrolet is facilitating the "Super BIG festival" during the same period of time. Foremost, 12 months no interest instalment (advance payment rate 10%) benefit, or 5.0% interest rate with a max 36 months, or 5.5% interest rate with a max 72-month instalment (advance payment rate 20%) choices are given with the purchase of The New Travel Blazer. These are the benefits provided for imported sales models, which are Equinox, Traverse, Colorado, Tahoe.; support 15% of car sales price for a single payment, a max 11 million won support and 4.9% interest rate of a max 36 months instalment, or 5.5% interest rate with a max 72months instalment for combo instalment program users (combination of cash support and instalment benefit), a max 8 million won support and a max 36 months no interest instalment without advance payment for users of "no interest and combo instalment" program, different no interest instalment plans according to advance payment (advance payment rate 10%- 48 month, 20%- 60 month, 30%- 72 month). Chevrolet offers a max 3 million won discount through the combo discount program, and a 1.5 million discount (acquisition tax) for a single payment for the purchase of a Bolt EV. However, you can only choose one benefit. Besides, Bolt EUV purchase customers can choose a 3.9% interest rate with a max 36-month special instalment program (advance payment rate 0%), and a max 1.5 million won is offered for fuel expenses according to the manufacturing month of the car. Additionally, giveaway events are hosted during the month. Chevrolet offers The New Travel Blazer (1), Hanatour Travel voucher worth 2 million won (2), LG Standbyme GO (10) for exhibition centre visitors as a giveaway through a lottery system, and all participators are given small gifts. Customers who complete a test drive at the exhibition centre and purchase are given a Shinsegae department store voucher worth 10 million won (1), GS Caltex oil voucher worth 1 million won (5), a Starbucks voucher worth 50 thousand won (20) through a lottery system, and all participators are given a Chevrolet camping item set, which include waggon, basket, mat and lantern.

KG Mobility is facilitating customised sales promotion.  The Torres leisure package, which includes a portable multi-power bank and compressor, water tank, and fall travel package including the Melon 1 year music subscription service are given to Torres 2024 customers. Additionally, all the customers of KG Mobility are given a chance to win LG StandbymeGo (1.17 million won). The event is basis on a lottery system, and two people are chosen every week during October. Discount benefits are offered as well. On the purchase of any model that is included in KG Sale Festa (including The New Tivoli with Air and Torres), you are given various benefit choices according to the model you chose; KG M Point 2 million won or KG M point 1 million won, one of LG home appliance products, including LG Standbyme Go (1.17 million won), LG Codezero Objecollection A9 cleaner (1.28 million won). 

For the purchase of Korando and Rexton Sports&Khan (Culmen), a KG M point worth 1 million won or an LG home appliance product is given. For the purchase of Rexton New Arena, the 4WD system, which is worth 1.95 million won, is freely installed. In the purchase of Tivoli, Torres, and Korando, whose models are included in the KG Sale Festa model, with an instalment plan, 20% of advance payment with 36 months no interest instalment, 30% of advance payment with 60 months 1.9% interest rate instalment, 20% of advance payment with 60 month 2.9% interest rate instalment programmes are offered. Rexton New Arena and Rexton Sports and Khan (Culmen) can be purchased with a 3.7% to 4.9% (max. 72 month) interest rate according to advance payment rate (0% ~ 30%). Product models that are not included in KG Sale Festa can also be purchased with various instalment programmes. The New Tivoli (incl. Air), Korando, and Torres can be purchased for a 12 month no-interest instalment without advance payment, a 3.7% ~ 5.2% interest rate with a 60 ~72 month instalment plan according to advance payment rate (0%~30%). Rexton New Arena and Rexton Sports and Khan (Culmen) can be purchased for 12 months for no interest instalment without advance payment of 4.7%~5.9% interest rate with a 60 ~72 month instalment plan according to advance payment rate (0%~30%). For a single payment, a KG M point worth 500 thousand won is given. Torres EVX can be purchased with a 5.7%~5.9% interest rate with a 36~60 month instalment and no advance payment. A charge voucher worth 200 thousand won is given to customers with a contract prior to release (~9/19) with condition of getting the car during the year.

Imported car brands are offering discount benefits on a maximum scale.

Discount sale is applied to all the Jeep models (of Stellantis Korea). These are maximum discount rate for each model; Wrangler 4xe 22 year, 12.19 million won, Grand Cherokee L, 11.90 million won, Grand Cherokee 4xe, 9.2 million won, Grand Cherokee, 9.5 million won, Renegade, 9.5 million won, Wrangler, 4.09 million won, Gladiator, 2 million won.

Fuzo is adjusting the price down to 7% for the SUV model, 3008, which is their main target product that was taking approx. 30% of Fuzo sales record between January and August this year. The sales prices of the 3008 SUV 1.2 Puretech and 1.5 BlueHDi models were adjusted to minus 3.3 million won from the former price, and consumer prices were adjusted to 45.2 million won, and 47.2 million won. Along with the October promotion which offers an additional 2 million won discount, the final discounted price for each model is 1.2 Puretech model, 43.2 million won, 1.5 BlueHDi model, 44.639 million won. For the electric models, which are the E-208 and E-2008 SUV, an 11.50 million won (regardless of trim) discount is given. These are the max discount benefit given for purchasing each model; 5008 SUV, 4.61 million won, 2008 SUV, 5.67 million won, 308, 1.87 million won, 508, 3.19 million won. For the purchase of New 408, oil expense support worth 1 million won and a 2-year extended warranty benefits are given.

Escalade of Cadillac (incl.ESV) offers additional benefits including cash dc and 36 months no interest instalment (advance payment 40%), and 60 month 1.9% interest rate lease (deposit 40%) options. For some Escalade models, cash discount and warranty extension benefits are offered and LG Standbyme Go is given. XT4 offers one of three options; cash discount, 60 months no interest instalment (advance payment 30%), 36 months no interest lease (deposit 30%). Besides, customers who choose no interest instalment or no interest lease options are given "lifetime engine oil free voucher" or "extending warranty period (1 year/ 20 thousand km) service". 

XT5 offers cash discount, 48 months no interest instalment (advance payment 30%), 36 month no interest lease (deposit 30%) benefits. For customers with the 3rd row luxury SUV XT6 purchase get one of three options; cash d/c, 36 months no interest instalment (advance payment 10%), 36 months no interest lease (deposit 40%). For purchase of CT5, cash d/c, 48 months no interest instalment (advance payment 30%), 36 months no interest lease (deposit 40%) benefits are given. For the purchase of Hyper Performance Sedan CT5-V Blackwing, cash d/c, 36 months no interest instalment (advance payment 30%), 36 month 1.2% interest rate lease (deposit 40%) benefits are given. Free giveaways are given. For purchase of Escalade (incl. ESV), a Cadillac golf bag set is given, and for the rest of the model, a Cadillac lady bag package is given.

For purchase of a Volkswagen Jetta, max. 9% d/c is given. For Premium, 9% d/c when using Volkswagen financial service and 8.5% d/c for single payment, and for Prestige, 8% when using financial services, and 7.5% d/c for cash payment. Golf 8 offers max. 9% d/c.
