Coca-cola Korea announced a new campaign, "Plastic used once more: Wonderful campaign season4" for participants. It can be a good challenge if you are a consumer interested in the environment and the circular economy. Consumerwide also participated in the Wonderful campaign for a second time. The Wonderful campaign is a resource circulation campaign for consumers facilitated by Coca-cola Korea since December 2020 for four years.

We participated more in the "Wonderful campaign"... It can be a fun and meaningful challenge if you are interested in consumption based on the environment and circular economy.

Zero waste boxes are provided when you participate in the campaign. For individuals, 2 boxes, and groups, 4 boxes are provided. As you complete filling the boxes with well recycled transparent drink pet bottles, you can close the lid, and apply for collection. The right guidelines for recycling are, removing any labels on the surface of the pet bottle, and washing the bottles. After washing, press the bottles so that more pets can be contained. Consumerwide collected transparent water pet bottles, which bottles do not have a label. The collecting process isn't difficult, either. You just have got to apply through QR code on the surface of the box packaging. But, it has got to be collected in 45 days.

Collected pet bottles are born again as Coca-cola recycled bottles. 10% of recycled resources based on transparent drink pet bottles, which are manufactured safely according to a standard of the Ministry of environment and the Ministry of food and drug safety, are used for the "Coca-cola recycled bottle". Plus, a 21% reduced amount of new plastics is used for each bottle compared to the former product by using a lightweight packaging strategy.

When the transparent drink pet bottles are collected, Coca-cola Korea rewards with campaign goods, which are two Coca-cola recycled pet bottles and an upcycled camping apron made of waste denim for individual participators, and group participators get a camping chair with a cold reserving pocket (pet recycled) additionally. Transparent pet bottles are transformed into goods that you want to cherish.

It also feels nice while collecting the bottles because I get to participate in a mission to clean the earth. Thus, I would like to recommend consumers who are interested in the circular economy. It could turn out to be a worthwhile and exciting challenge.

At this time, Coca-cola Korea is receiving 2nd participants, which are 750 individuals and 150 groups, for season 4 of the Wonderful campaign.
