November has tons of big discount events, including Black Friday, 'Sipil-jeol' at 11ST,  'Big smile day' at Gmarket, 'Sseuk-day' at SSGdotcom, 'Wow big sale' of the Coupang. Because of the Itaewon tragedy, Big smile day and Sseukday have been cancelled. But, Gmarket and SSGdotcom are running the discount event by changing the event titles.

On the 8th, followed by the industry, Coupang is running a 'Wow big sale', which provides a max. scale discount benefit of the year.  The 'Wow big sale' is a discount event exclusively for Coupang Wow customers. The Wow bigsale is opened every year in July and Nov, and this year it's offered till the 14th of Nov. During this sale period, various discount corners are offered. That are 'Wow brand bigsale', which sale has a paticipation of the pupular brand including ▲Samsung electronics, Apple, LG electronics, Lotte confectionary, Amorepacific, P&G, Philips, Aekyung, Tefal, Yuhan kimberly, ▲'Wow biggest sale', which sale offers those frequently sold products in extremely discounted prices, starting from 7am every morning (first come, first served) ▲Wow category week and the Wow category bigsale, which sales offer daily products in different category (category: beauty, fashion, pet, baby, kitchen, food) in discounted price, each category for one day throughout whole week, and ▲ Wow goldbox bigsale, which sale is the best selection of the regular goldbox sale over 22years (encore discount). A Coupang related person said, "We decided to offer the Wow bigsale for Wow memberships, which sale offered the max scale benefit last year and this year. It would be wonderful if the Wow membership would have a reasonable shopping through this event without worrying about high prices."

Meanwhile, 11ST is offering the 'Simil-jeol' till 11th, which is the max-scale event of the year. 'Nov. is the grand shopping-jeol. The Sipil-jeol festival' involves a total of 170 brands, which was counted twice from last year.

Gmarket and SSGdotcome have cancelled all the events of '2022 Korean Sseuk day', which is the max-scale shopping festival of the Shinsegae group, because of the Itaewon tragedy. Instead, Gmarket and SSGdotcom are running the Gmarket sale and the SSG budget shopping proposal till the 11th. During this period, max. 20% discount coupon packs are offered while having a daily time-deal special sale event (twice a day for limited goods, and a popular brand discount sale.

A Gmarket related person said during the Consumerwide interview, "We have cancelled the total event of the 'Big smile day' in order to participate in the mourning of the Itaewon tragedy. However, it was inevitable to hold another sales event by changing the name because of our partner companies, who were involved in the 'Big smile day'.

Wemakeprice is offering the 'beauty·health Black Friday' between 1st to 11st, next month. 60 brands have participated and are selling 5000 beauty and health products up to max. 70% discounted prices. The brands include ▲Innisfree ▲Loreal ▲Missha ▲Charmzone ▲Cenovis ▲CJwellcare ▲Nurione ▲Nonghyup red ginseng. Each brand offers a maximum of 50% discount coupons. Wemakeprice VIP customers can receive max 5% saving points, which points can be used in Wemakeprice shopping mall on the condition that they are paid with KB·Shinhan·Lotte credit cards (allience cards) during the event.

Tmon is offering a Monster-jeol till 11th, which is the max scale of the Tmon event of the year. Every day, the best of the best benefits are provided. The products in different categories with a special price are offered, which includes a coupon discount or a payback event. Coming on 9th and 10th, the Ancore-day is running, which day offers products at a special price, acknowledged as a hot-deal during the event period. The last day, 11th, 'Last day', which offers the stronger benefit on the popular shops with special price.
