[Consumerwide - Jinil Kang Reporter / Yohan Bok Reporter]  A discussion forum, "The way to go for ICT during the era of AI," was held at Yeonsai University (Baekyangnuri Grandvolumn) Seoul to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the communications industry in Korea on the 5th. AI has a positive and innovative effect on society. Nevertheless, we are supposed to get ready for any changes that result from the rapid development of AI in our society. As research institutes, industries, and consumers, we all have got to pay attention to the value consumption of clever technology.

During the event, Kim Beomsoo, Kim Beonsoo, the director of Barun ICT research institute at Yeonsai University, said during the introductory speech, "During the recent years, AI has been being applied to every sector of society and changing our very lives. I expect advanced AI will bring a positive change to our lives overall. On the other hand, some raise questions about uncertainty and risk. Thus, I perceive that this is the time to prepare for changes that might occur by AI, along with a prediction on innovative change."
