[Consumerwide - Hayoung Chang Reporter/Yohan Bok Reporter]  Donations and social contribution activities were facilitated for children and teens from vulnerable families.

YG Entertainment donated 0.1 billion won for children victims of violence through Savethechildren, and Ggulmat has donated 100 kg of DaepeSamgyeobsal for the meals of teens in group homes and shelters. Ssangyong Construction has donated 6 million won, which was donated by staff, to the House of Jacob, a children's protection facility. YG Entertainment has donated 0.1 billion won for the mental stability and healthy growth of child victims of violence. The donation is going to be used to run four child protection expert facilities operated by SavetheChildren (an NGO) located in Ulsan, Ansan, Bucheon, and Seoul. In particular, by constructing a music therapy space, they plan to run a customised therapy programme that aims for mental therapy through music, language, and play for child victims. YG and SavetheChildren are actively engaged in the return of children to society after recovery from violence by offering this music therapy support project, which provides programmes for mental stability and healthy growth in children.

On the other hand, Ggulmat has donated 100 kg of Daepesamgeobsal (a 500-person portion) for the meals of teens living in shelter and group homes through Hopeappletree (the Korea Youth Association social contribution business). The meat is passed to forty teen families who are not covered by the welfare system and 14 group homes in Seoul, where there are an average of six children, between January 17th and 24th. The Ggulmat has been offering this meal to group homes and protection facilities to provide healthy meals to teens on a monthly basis since last year.

Ssangyong Construction has collected 6 million won from staff, and the donation was passed to the House of Jacob (a children's protection facility) in Pyeongtaek along with other goods donations. All the donations are used to support infant victims between the ages of 0 and 3 who are staying at the House of Jacob. The donation includes profit from the sharing cafe event at the end of last year and donations from all headquarter members centred around the Junior Board (staff who are responsible for the overall department and working staff).
