Korea Water Resources Corporation and Busan (city) are collaborating to achieve the green smart city vision.

This MOU is aiming for the development of each sector, including achieving the green smart city vision of Busan, by taking advantage of both institutes. Korea Water Resources Corporation is a global water expertise institute that assists in proper ways to respond to the climate crisis, whereas Busan has a variety of infrastructure and is the second largest city in Korea.
The MOU consists of supporting and cooperating for numerous strategic projects, such as facilitating a national pilot city for the Busan Eco-Delta Smart- City project, improving metropolitan convenience (Busan Eco-Delta City tram), corporative business in relation to supply of clean water to the city, vitalizing global ecological tourism in the outfall area of Nakdonggang, a smart healthcare cluster, and Mecdo Greencity. Both institutes are planning on various ways to make it happen, such as the discovery of corporative assignments through facilitating the council for tasks while also checking out practical steps.
Yoon Seokdae, the CEO of Korea Water Resources Corporation, said, "Korea Water Resources Corporation is a government business that has grown up along with the changing history of the city of Busan, and the projects include the development and facilitation of the Nakdonggang estuary bank and the first national test smart city, Busan Eco-delta city. We will support that Busan will progress further as a central city in the provincial era by focusing on corporations with Busan for pioneering new projects in the provincial areas."
