[Consumerwide_Hayoung, Chang Reporter / Yohan, Bok Reporter]  The leisure industry is presenting travel activities in connection with ESG. Some projects are hosted by donating partial sales, which is a profit from a travel product sale on the market.

GSshop and Modootour are releasing a Turkey travel product which donates 1% of sales to the earthquake victim area. This is a type of 'good consumption' which is a direct donation by purchase. Hence, this could be an option for consumption-value customers. Lotte duty free shop is supporting multicultural families in the Inchon area for Jeju travel. This is aiming for social contribution in the area where a duty-free shop is located. Through travel, they help with activities focused on the cultural experience of multicultural families, so that ultimately they may settle in the local society.

GSshop and Modootour are presenting a Turkey travel product which donates 1% of sales for the earthquake victim area. The 'Modootour Turkey Hilton Package 9days' is a product that donates 1% of profit to the earthquake victim area through an NGO, Savethechildren. Last year, estimated by the Turkish broadcaster, the 1% of sales were approx. 20 million won.

GSshop has explained that they came to a conclusion supporting a donation-related broadcast wishing the speedy restoration of victims. They also considered that Turkey had been a popular tourist destination. The travel area is distanced from the earthquake victim area, the west part of Turkey. So GSshop and Modootour can host a trip without risk while passing on the donation to the earthquake area. On the aspect of customers, they can participate in a good consumption.

Meanwhile, Lotte duty free shop is organizing a project, 'Inchon area multicultural family Jejudo travel support', cooperating with 'Together, Hansup', a nonprofit corporation. This project is a social contribution program that Lotte and Hansup cooperate to strengthen a multicultural family. This program provides various experimental and cultural activities for the multicultural family who may lack leisure activity because of financial issues.

Starting from April, they are offering a two-time Jejudo visit for 40 participants from 15 multicultural families. The schedule is made up of horse riding, Jeju cultural experience, Jeju food experiment, which is focused on the cultural experience of the Jeju area.

Noh Jaeseung, the general manager of marketing dept in Lotte's dutyfree store said, "We hope this relaxing time may enhance bonding relationships in multicultural families while being able to settle in the local society. Lotte's dutyfree store will continue to contribute to local society where our stores are located in; Incheon, Jeju, and Busan. In this way, the local society and us may grow together."
