The Evezary hosted a tree planing event in Jungrangcheon area, Seoul Dongdaemun-gu, on the 1st, celebrating the coming 'tree-planting day'. It was a part of the ‘2050 carbon neutralization city proclamation’ project, which was announced by Dongdaemu-gu early this year. The Evezary has planted trees at the 50m section, the beginning point of the Jungrangcheon embankment walk in Dongdaemun-gu Gunjakyo area.
Reminding the carbon neutralization city proclamation, the Dongdaemun-gu is planning on expanding the afforestation in Jungrangcheon walk area and acting for environmental improvement in cooperation with Evezary, whose company has been appointed by the Forest service for the '1st domestic carbon-offset forest'.
Evezary decided the tree donation for the event. Afterwards, they sort trees that are capable of transplanting while having landscape values.
Earlier, Evezary developed a forest which scales about 21,901 Pyoung(7.24ha) in the Hangang park, Seoul area, as they were organizing the ‘Hangang carbon-offset forest making event’ since 2014 for 8 years.
In addition, they are tending a company forest which scales about 70,000 Pyoung (23.1ha) in Gyounggi Yangpyoung-gun. Furthermore, they are practicing carbon neutralization activities, which a total of 514 tons, as they were organizing the domestic and international carbon neutralization campaign and a certified emission reduction (CER) contribution by obtaining the voluntary CER for 1616 tons in the target area.
