[Consumerwide_ HueSoung, Jun Reporter / Yohan, Bok Reporter] The micro Kickboard is seen as a luxury kickboard among children that may exceed the Luis Vuitton of grown-ups.

This can be considered as a dream kickboard for children because of its outstanding quality , design, and driving comfort.

Micro kickboad has opened to the public in domestic market the tinest electric car, Microlino during the Seoul Mobility show 2023. Hence, we got to hear about Microlino through An Younggyeun, the team leader of Micro Kickboard (Official Korean importation business Geo Infotech).

A unique and sweet electric car was catching eyes at the Micro Kickboard exhibition booth during the Seoul mobilityshow 2023. This is the Microlino, the original Kickboard , which has been opened to the public for the first time in the domestic market.

Micro Kickboard came into the world by releasing a three-wheel product, K2 Kickboard, in 1999.

The word, 'kickboard', which was used for the first time by Micro, has now become a proper noun for a product which now everyone uses in the world. The original kickboard, Micro Kickboard, has begun to dominate the market in advance with the subminiature electric car.

On the 31st, An Younggyeun, the team leader we met at the Micro Kickboard exhibition booth said, "This is the Miro Kickboard company which is known among customers for a kickboard for infants and children. Micro Kickboard, which has a head office in Switzerland, was established 20 years ago under the determination to make anything with wheels, in other words, Micro Mobility System. Beginning with the children's kickboard, today we have to release the Microlino, the electric car, since last year."

Regarding Microlino, Mr An, the team leader, said, “

The Microlino, which is a futuristic subminiature electric car made out of inspiration from the bubble-car, BMW Isetta back in 1950, is now attracting the market with its design and superior quality. Currently, the releasing date or price has not been set on the domestic market. However, it's been out in the European market, Germany and Switzerland, since the end of last year."

And he added, “The volume of the car is; 2.5m long, 1.5m wide, 1.5m tall. And it weighs 515g including the battery. The Microlino is the tiny motor, considering the light cars in the domestic market sized; 3.6m long, 1.6m wide, 2.0m

tall. 3 Microlino can park in the space where one ordinary car parks. It's the smallest. Nevertheless, two passengers can drive. Furthermore, there is a trunk space for 230L."

The maximum speed of Microlino is 90Km/L.

Having a 10.5kWh battery installed, it can drive max 177km with one charge, under conditions of driving flatland. It can charge both through a 12.5kW electric motor and a home-use socket. To complete the charge, it takes 4 hours.

Mr An, the team leader, said, “Microlino is about the same level as Tourzy. It's only possible to drive on a general road, not on the highway. This can probably be perceived as the smallest electric car in the city. It might be best for grocery shopping and daily work at a close distance."

Microlino has got a clever and cute appearance. I got on the Microlino while I was interviewing. Microlino has got a design of a round body shape which you might see in a future SF film. The car door is unique. Most cars have doors on two sides, but there are doors only on the front side for Microlino. When you open the front park, you can get to the inner part of the car. I am not accustomed to the doors in the front part. This needs time to get used to. When the door is closed, it looks almost the same as ordinary cars. In the front  there are clusters (gauge) and a steering wheel. The gauge is on the upper side of the wheel. The gear is the left-under side of the driver's seat. There is conditioning equipment installed. When the door is closed, there comes the conditioning equipment  in the place where perhaps other cars call center-fascia. Underneath, there is an emergency button.

There is a smartphone holder right at the head of the passenger's seat. This was probably designed for navigation. The car starts in the traditional way, by inserting a key. The driver's seat and passenger's seat are made as one seat. It doesn't look comfortable. Behind the seat there is a trunk space where one can load the luggage. The windows work manually. I didn't feel too special about it. However, the price range of this car is between 30 million won and 25 million won under the condition of full option.

Mr An, the team leader said, "Models that are exhibited currently are models of the highest rank and 999 limited edition. Hence, it is as expensive as 22 thousand Euros, which is about 30 million won to 25 million won in Korea. The most basic trim cost 17 thousand Euro, which is about 18 million won to 20 million won. It has not been long since we manufactured them. So the price range is somewhat expensive. For basic models, we are aiming to bring it down to 10 thousand to 15 thousand  Euro."

For the domestic release plans, he said, "For now, we are planning to release whether next year or in 2025. It could be delayed a bit, but we will try our best to introduce it to consumers in the domestic market."
