[Consumerwide_ HueSoung, Jun Reporter / Yohan, Bok Reporter] On the 15th, Chaevi won the newly offered award, 'electric vehicle charge service specialized business Daeyoung Chaevi, during 'the second ‘EV awards 2023’.
On the day, EV awards 2023, foreman of the jury, professor of Kukmin Univ, Joyongseok, gave thoughts on the reward, "Chaevi, the well-known electric car charger brand amongst consumers, which won the electric car charger of the year, was evaluated as the most preferred charger from electric car owners by offering the largest charging infra and service in Korea.
In particular, the evaluation incorporated a consistent system and service for high convenience in electric car charging, which is based on high technique capacity and innovation."
Chaevi participated in the EV trend Korea 2023, and installed Chaevi-stay, which they are currently running at Gangnam and Seongsu, at the event booth.
Chaevi-stay is an innovative charging station which offers various lifestyles combining electric car charges and the experience of rest, convenience, and shopping.
In addition, Chaevi has exhibited a rapid charger Duoconic, which applied the Prebook system for EV charging and won the innovation award at CES2023, and ICONIC, a rapid charger awarded for design at the 'International forum design award', and Highconic, an extreme rapid charger at 400kW, which system succeeded in the first development and commercialization in domestic market.
After the awards, the Chaevi exhibition hall was crowded with visitors wanting to experience a Chaevi-stay and Chaevi charger. Visitors showed a high interest in a charging system by touching the machines while stopping at the booth.
Chaevi got the award, 'charger of the year', because of their high distribution rate and user convenience in Korea.
On the day, a Chaevi related person we met at the EV awards 2023 Chaevi exhibition hall mentioned, "Approx. 8000 chargers are distributed across Korea. The share in the expressway service area is about 70%. Chaevi is expanding the charger infrastructure looking to the next 5 years. Our system is equipped with consumer convenience. By constructing a 24-hour available charger infra, we're trying to resolve any inconvenience that occurs while using our facility. Electric car owners already know Chaevi as a brand, and many trust us and use our facility."
