Downy has been focusing on laundry smell and stain elimination whereas Pigeon has been concentrating on strong washing capacity. Meanwhile, some companies jumped into the war with capsule type detergent, which detergent has applied new technology.

On the 18th, followed by the industry, Pigeon has released 'Acts premium gel 2 types (renewal version)', which is a detergent with stronger capacity by a baking soda and 8 layers of enzymes. On the other hand, capsule detergent got stronger. Korea Miracle People Cooperation(KMPC) has released a high enriched capsule detergent, which detergent has integrated 3POD capsule technology. The product that KMPC is presenting is a topstep aroma capsule detergent, 'Pink flower'. It has got enzyme wash, fabric protection, deep clean color care, and three functions. The aroma is an attractive combination of the fresh feeling of an Aldehyde note and a mellow floral aroma. It is unnecessary to measure the detergent because it's a capsule type that is specially designed for convenience by removing the uncomfortableness of powder and liquid detergent. You can simply wash by throwing capsule detergent into the washing tub. Kapod, brand of Whealth Lohmann Centralin Korea(WLCK), has released a new capsule detergent, 'Dual core sterilization plus'. This detergent fundamentally cleans and sterilizes 99.9% of germs in the fabric while removing bacteria in the washing tub. Aroma is a signature aroma of Kapodman, the former model.
