[Consumerwide_ Yohan, Bok Reporter] McDelivery personal information leakage victims' case has lost. The federal judiciary of the US stood on Mcdonald's side. Wethepeople, the law firm represented US Mcdonald's class action, gave up on appeal.

Last year, McDonald's Korean customers took class action against US McDonald's regarding a personal information leakage case. The Wethepeople law firm stood as representative for Korean customers.

On the 30th, followed by Wethepeople, the Federal judiciary of the US ruled against the plaintiff regarding a Korean customers' class action against US McDonald's.

On that day, a Wethepeople related person said during a Consumerwide interview, "The Federal judiciary of the US disapproved Korean customers' class action on US McDonalds'. Last year, we went proceeding class action, which has not been easy for us all. As a result, they (Federal judiciary of the US) decided there is no significant damage by the US McDonald's leaking personal information of Korean customers. We (Wethepeople) were all shocked by it.  We've been considering appeals, but we decided that our defense counsel doesn't have more power to carry on. However, it was the first case for Korean customers to sue American global companies for compensation regarding leaking personal information of our customers. Though we've lost. We are hoping that US global companies in Korea will realize that any personal information leakage in Korea could be directly accused by the federal judiciary of the US in future through this class action event."
