- Protect the environment while getting a camping chair by collecting pet bottles

[Consumerwide_Jinil, Kang Reporter / Yohan, Bok Reporter] We won a Coca-Cola camping chair in exchange for pet bottles (transparent). The quality of the camping chair was more than expected. We were glad to participate in this campaign.

Earlier, Coca-Cola had begun 'ONETHEPL Campaign Season 3' for proper recycling. Having 3 times of oppotunity to participate, each time, 1,350 individuals and 20 groups of 4 were chosen. The reporter participated the campaign. The Zero Waste Box was delivered to the address in application form. There was a plastic bag that came along with the box. The box was big so as to contain 35 bottles of 2 liters(squeezed). It wasn't difficult to complete the mission because Consumerwide drink bottled mineral water instead of using water filter.

Filling up the Zero Waster Box, we requested for collection by scanning the QR-code on the box after completing the mission. Next day, they collected the box. Transparent pet bottles were exchanged for an upcycled camping chair (with cold reserving pocket), which might be perfect for various outdoor activities such as camping and picnics.

The Coca-Cola camping chair got to us after 2 weeks (28th). We opened up the box without having any big expectations. Red, the signature color of Coca-Cola, and White, the color of Coca-Cola Zero Marshmello stood up. When I unfolded them, it was an excellent size for any outdoor activities. Underneath the chair, there was a cold reserving pocket for drinks. The bag had a little pocket to hold various personal goods. There was a Coca-Cola logo on the back of the chair. It was fairly comfortable when I sat on it. It seemed to be sowing was strong enough to hold a heavy person. It was portable and had a strap when the chair was folded. Also, it was a reasonable size for carrying. It was relatively light. It was free from formaldehyde risk, which is a big issue.

The Coca-Cola campaign left me with a clear message that great value can be added when a pet bottle is recycled. This sustainable practice is beneficial for the environment, while participants get a practical gift. I encourage you to take a pet bottle challenge if you haven't done it.
